Childcare Packages
We are CSSIW registered to provide 40 childcare places for children from 0 up to 11 years of age. This includes the provision of care for 12 infants under 2 years of age. The Nursery is open during the hours of 7.45 am to 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday - closed only for two weeks over the Christmas/New Year period and on Bank Holidays.
In an endeavour to meet the needs of most family situations, listed below are some of our most popular Childcare Packages:
Settling In:
As the title suggests, this is a settling in period for children who are newcomers to the nursery. It involves allowing a parent (usually the mother) to remain with the child over as many hours and days as it takes for the parent to be confident that their child will be be happy to be left in the nursery environment without his/her parent. This involves an hourly fee of just £5.00 for all ages of infant.
Half Day Care:
Half day rates apply for any child who is booked into the nursery for up to 5 hours duration. There are three bands of fee, depending on age of child, up to school age.
Under 2 years = £21.60 : 2 - 3 years of age = £19.45: Over 3 years = £17.30
Full Day Care:
For children who are booked into the creche for any period of time longer than 5 hours up to a maximum of 10 hours, Full Day Rates apply.
Under 2 years = £35.00: 2 - 3 years of age = £33.75: Over 3 years = £29.00
Meithrin playgroup:
This is offered specifically for children of 2 - 3 years of age. We have a morning session starting at 9.15 am. to 11.45 a.m. (i.e. two and a half hours) at a cost of £7.60 per session, inclusive of a morning snack consisting of toast/fruit and milk.
The afternoon session takes place between 1.00 p.m. and 3.00 p.m. (two hours) at a charge of £6.50 per session.
Breakfast Club:
This is designed for children of school age and runs from 7.45 a.m. until 9.00 a.m. at the cost of just £5.00 per day.
After School Club:
Again, for children attending school, this is a popular option amongst working parents as they are assured that their child is safe between the hours of 3.30 (when school ends) up until 6.00 p.m. when the Nursery closes until the next day. The fee for this facility is just £7.65 per session inclusive of pick-up from school.
For those children attending either the Breakfast or After School Clubs (or both) there are many activities to keep them occupied.
Holiday Club:
During school holiday periods, we run the Holiday Club. This too is a popular option, and bookings can be made for just Half a Day (up to 5 hours) or a Full Day covering from 5 hours up to 10).
Half Day Fee = £11.00: Full Day Fee = £21.60
Food:
Nutritionally balanced foods are prepared by our fully qualified Cook and lists of four-weekly rotating lunch menus, as well as a Tea menu are on prominent display in the Nursery for all parents to see at any time.
Lunch = £1.90 : Tea = £1.10
As we strive to ensure that all meals served to the children in our care are as healthy as possible, we would ask that those parents who bring food for their child to eat comply with our healthy eating philosophy, and refrain from including foods that contain a surfeit of salt or sugar.
